He won Best New Documentary Director at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival for Like Water — distributed theatrically in the U.S. and Brazil by Lionsgate — and was nominated for the 2022 Latin GRAMMY® for Bailaora.
His other documentary work includes Salsa Giants, an official selection at the Rotterdam International Film Festival featuring Marc Anthony, Cheo Feliciano, and 15 other legends; and Rising Up, a Fox Sports documentary about UFC champion Benson Henderson. He also directed a 24-episode series for Discovery Kids and has worked with Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, AT&T, Nickelodeon, Univision, and Telemundo.
His music video work has earned him 4 Latin GRAMMY® nominations and 6 Billboard Awards nominations, including MTV and OYE Best Short Video Awards for Maná's "Labios Compartidos."
