His film debut was in Stuck On You (2005), and he appears in the upcoming films Sins Of Our Youth, Km72, and My Friend Vijay. He has performed at major events such as the Latin Grammys and Premio Lo Nuestro, sharing the stage with artists like Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin. Maria Lopez Tristancho, known as ARGENTINA, is a two-time Latin Grammy nominee and award-winning flamenco artist from Huelva. She began her career with her debut album in 2006 and gained significant recognition with Amor Brujo under Siudy Garrido and Gustavo Dudamel. Argentina has released four albums: Argentina (2006), Las Minas de Egipto (2009), Un Viaje por el Cante (2012), and La Vida del Artista (2017). Her debut album won the Critics' Award for Best Flamenco Album, and she has since earned accolades, including the VIII National Award "Active Flamenco City Ubeda" and the Audience Award. Her latest album, La Vida del Artista, further solidified her place in flamenco with successful concerts across major cities globally.
Jose Manuel Alvarez is a distinguished flamenco dancer and choreographer known for his exceptional artistry and innovative approach. He has been a key performer in Marco Flores' company, with notable contributions to Laberintica (2014) and Enter the Game (2016). Alvarez has also shone in smaller formats like Solo Con (Barcelona 2014) and international venues such as the Theater de la Ville in Paris and Palau de la Música. His experience includes performances at renowned tablaos like Villarrosa and El Corral de la Moreria.
Currently, Alvarez directs his own flamenco and dance company, creating original works such as Movimiento Collateral (2018), Bailes Collaterales (2019), Crosses (2020), and El Rumbòdrom (2021). His work blends flamenco with other body languages, reflecting his commitment to artistic innovation and exploration.
Antonio Canales is a legendary Flamenco dancer and a pivotal figure in Siudy Garrido's career, having first collaborated with her company in 2014. As a young dancer, Canales joined the National Ballet of Spain, later moving to Paris to perform with Maguy Marin ballet and the Versalia Festival in Italy.
An internationally acclaimed dancer, Canales has created over fifty choreographies and performed at countless galas. He founded his own company in 1992 and premiered influential works such as Torero (1993), which led to over 1,000 performances and an Emmy nomination. His other notable productions include Gitano (1997), Cinderella (2000), and Ojos Verdes (2003).
Canales has also appeared on TV programs, starred in the film Vengo, and participated in Operacion Triunfo. He currently conducts workshops worldwide and collaborates with prestigious dance companies.
Juan Manuel Fernandez Montoya is a renowned Flamenco dancer and heir to a unique Flamenco lineage founded by his grandfather, Farruco. He made his debut with Siudy Garrido Flamenco Company in 2015, performing as Carmelo in Amor Brujo and as a special guest in Flamenco Intimo.
Farruquito first gained international recognition at age 4 with Flamenco Puro on Broadway. He made his film debut at 11 in Carlos Saura's Flamenco and choreographed Bodas de Gloria. By 15, he created Raices Flamencas, which premiered at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
He has been celebrated with accolades, such as being named best artist by The New York Times (2001) and one of the 50 Most Beautiful People by People magazine. Farruquito has also been honored by the Spanish Academy of Music and has premiered works like Puro (2008) and Sonerias (2010). He has toured extensively, including recent tours in the United States.
Manuel Gutierrez Cabello, born in Montpellier, France, to Spanish émigrés from Córdoba, began dancing at a young age, winning his first Flamenco award at 8. He trained with Lita Peiro, Jose Galvan, Joaquín Grilo, and Javier Latorre, and soon started working with prominent artists such as Duquende and Chicuelo.
In 2008, Gutierrez choreographed Flamenco Flamen'ka, a hit in London and France. Praised for his fiery and spectacular dance style, Danse magazine dubbed him "The Young Flemish Prince." His work extended to television and theater, and he has been invited to teach at prestigious studios, including L'Opéra de Paris.
Since 2011, Manuel has been Artistic Director for the Global Gift Foundation, collaborating with Eva Longoria on worldwide charity events. He continues to choreograph and perform globally, including with the San Francisco-based Caminos Flamencos. He has collaborated with Siudy Garrido Flamenco Company as Carmelo in Amor Brujo from 2016 to the present, including at the Hollywood Bowl 2019. He is currently based in Los Angeles.
