Introduction to the technical, rhythmic (compás), and expressive aspects of Flamenco dance, including basic footwork (zapateo) and arm movement (braceo).
This level offers an introduction to Flamenco through Andalusian folklore, studying the 4 Sevillanas (a traditional Andalusian dance) from a technical perspective to prepare students for future choreography. We also work on Flamenco rumba to enhance agility, coordination, and fluidity.
