Policies, Procedures & Expectations
Each level focuses on developing the dancer's technique, discipline, artistry, and performance skills.
This will be at the discretion of the Artistic Director/Coordinator. We have a professional staff to ensure that each student is placed in the class best suited for them, ensuring quality instruction at the correct level.
Please arrive ten minutes prior to class start time dressed in the proper attire, shoes, and hairstyle. Please do not be late for classes. Proper technical warm-ups are done at the beginning of class and are vital to preventing injuries. Warm-up is critical to proper dance execution and the safety of you or your child.
Flamenco attire of choice that includes:
Guest observance of classes is welcome through the television monitor located in the waiting area. No guests will be allowed into studios without prior permission from administration.
The Teen dance season, and thereby tuition payment responsibility, runs from August until June. All students must enroll for a full season of classes.
The Adult dance season, and thereby tuition payment responsibility, is year round running from August 1st until July 31st. All adults will be registered for 1 full year and AUTO-RENEWED unless notified in writing prior to the renewal date.
If at any time during the registered year you must withdraw for a period of time and ask to have tuition placed on hold, you will be required to re-register upon your return and pay your annual registration membership of $100.
Both teen and adult Tuition is paid in monthly installments due on the first day of each month. The first installment and the minimum Registration Membership fee are due upon registration.
SF primarily observes Miami-Dade Public School calendar. Some months have 5 weeks while others only 4. Holidays are not pro-rated nor are there any additional fees for months with five weeks of classes.
Monthly Tuition payments will be automatically charged the 1st of each month using the credit card on file. Any payment not received by the 3rd of the month will auto-incur a $40 late fee on the 4th of the month.
Any student wanting to use a different credit card must send new card information to our General Manager, Debbie Cubides, via WhatsApp messaging to (754) 307-6999 prior to the 1st of the month.
Full Tuition Discount: Tuition paid in full at registration receives a 10% discount; or pay one-half of tuition at registration with a valid credit card number (to remain on file) and receive a 5% discount. The second half of tuition will be automatically charged on the 1st day of the 7th month of classes.
Family Discount: If multiple family members are registered for monthly tuition based classes and paying monthly, each will receive a 10% discount.
Accepted Forms of Payment: Only Credit Card payments will be accepted for Monthly Tuition Payments. We accept all major credit cards.
When you register for dance classes, you are making a full season commitment (from August through June for teens and August to July for adults) and are responsible for paying for the entire season unless you withdraw in writing by email at least thirty (30) days prior to withdrawal.
You must notify management at classes@siudyflamenco.org in writing that you are withdrawing yourself or your child. If notification is received after tuition has been charged no refund will be issued.
TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
In lieu of a "registration fee", SF requires its students to become members of the Siudy Flamenco Dance Theater, LLC *Patron Program. There are various "Tax Deductible" options available.
*NOTE: Siudy Flamenco Dance Theater LLC is a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and as such, your patronship is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Consult your tax advisor.
**ALL STUDENTS MUST BE A "SIUDY FLAMENCO MEMBER" PATRON FOR $100.

Parents of teen students please instruct your child to wait inside the studio office for their rides and to inform the staff if their ride is late. Minors are not permitted to wait outside for rides. A minor will not be allowed to leave the premises unsupervised unless given written consent from a parent or guardian.
Missed classes are not refundable. Tuition is still due to hold your spot in class. There are no refunds if you drop a class(es) in the middle of the month, choose other activities over dance class, or simply skip class.
SF requests that the student or parent send a WhatsApp message to administration at (786) 671-8150 to inform of any absence, illness or problem a student might be having.
If there is a contagious illness, please stay out of class until fully recovered and can participate fully without risk of relapse. Injured dancers are asked to "sit out" and observe classes until completely healed and doctors approval is given to resume classes.
A missed "Level" class cannot be made-up in another "Level" class due to the lack of multiple same level classes. Students will have an option to makeup classes on a case by case basis for pre-determined and pre-notified absences of 2+ weeks. Please contact management via WhatsApp message at (754) 307-6999.
SF reserves the right to combine classes, change times, provide substitute teachers and/or replacement teachers or cancel or combine any class as management deems necessary. There is only one teacher assigned per class. There may be times when two teachers will be assisting each other. Teacher assignments can be subject to change if in the best interest of students and teachers. These decisions will be made by the director.
If choosing to drop a class or drop out of SF all together, we must receive written notice by email a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to your next tuition payment. To insure you do not get billed after you have dropped a class, please email management at classes@siudyflamenco.org so we can update your billing records.
If you add class(es) during the middle of a month, the remainder of that month will be pro-rated and the following month you will be charged at full rate for remainder of season.
SF offers private instruction with a variety of Siudy Flamenco Instructors for dancers wanting to work in a one on one environment to strengthen technique and/or brush up on choreography. Private lessons can only be canceled if done 24 hrs prior to the scheduled lesson. If you must cancel after, then a doctors note must be submitted or client will be charged for the missed private lesson.

SF will periodically bring in photographers and/or videographers to document the work being done in class. You have an option to Consent or Not Consent on your registration form. Your acceptance acknowledges that SF reserves the right to use these photos/videos in promotional materials either printed or via our website or social media outlets.
Please do not engage the instructors at any time in their respective dance studios to ask questions. When one class ends, another one begins. If you have a question or concern please leave a message at the front desk for the director or manager. Messages will be returned as soon as possible. The director, manager and/or the parents can schedule a studio meeting if needed. This should be done via email at classes@siudyflamenco.org.
We customarily have an end of season recital to showcase the dancers progress throughout the year. ALL TEEN STUDENTS are expected to participate in the performance. ADULT STUDENTS are highly encouraged to participate and showcase their hard work.
If unable to participate for any reason SF must be notified in writing at classes@siudyflamenco.org immediately. If notification is made after costumes have been ordered, Dancer will still be responsible for payment of such.

Siudy Flamenco Dance Theater, LLC
The following policies apply to all students and purchasers in addition to the sections above. Where any provision in this section conflicts with an earlier section of this Handbook, this section controls. The Terms of Use and Refund Policy published at siudyflamenco.org are incorporated into this Handbook by reference and form part of your agreement with Siudy Flamenco.
All class purchases — including single/drop-in classes, class packs, workshops, intensives, and special events — are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable once purchased, whether or not the class is attended. This includes refund requests based on a change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or purchases made by mistake. Class-pack credits expire on the date stated at purchase; expired or unused credits are not refunded, extended, or exchanged. This section applies in addition to the season-tuition policy above.
In-person course, class, package, and enrollment purchases must be activated by attending your first class within ninety (90) days of the purchase date. If you do not attend your first class within 90 days of purchase, you waive the right to attend, the purchase is forfeited, and no refund, credit, extension, or transfer will be issued.
All withdrawals and cancellations — of season enrollment, monthly tuition, class packages, memberships, and subscriptions — must be requested in writing by email to classes@siudyflamenco.org at least thirty (30) days before your next tuition payment, billing, or renewal date. Cancellation requests are not accepted by phone, in person, through social media, or through any other channel. If notice is received fewer than 30 days before the next payment date, that payment will still be charged and the cancellation takes effect at the end of that paid period. This 30-day requirement supersedes any shorter notice period stated elsewhere in this Handbook.
Adult registrations renew automatically each year on August 1 and the card on file is charged, unless you cancel by email to classes@siudyflamenco.org at least thirty (30) days before the renewal date. We will send a renewal reminder to the email address on file 30–60 days before each annual renewal. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.
If classes are cancelled, interrupted, or relocated due to weather, natural disasters, public-health orders, government action, facility unavailability, or any other event beyond our reasonable control, the studio will, at its discretion, offer make-up classes, account credit, rescheduling, or virtual instruction. Virtual delivery of a scheduled class constitutes full performance of that class. No refunds are issued for closures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Approved make-up classes must be used within sixty (60) days of the missed class and do not carry over between seasons. Make-up classes have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable.
All students, parents, and guests must conduct themselves respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other students. The studio may suspend or dismiss any student for conduct that is disruptive, unsafe, or violates studio policies. Dismissal for conduct does not entitle the student to any refund of tuition, fees, or purchases.
Costume fees are non-refundable once costumes have been ordered. Costumes will not be released to students whose accounts have an outstanding balance.
Parents/guardians of minor students must provide a current emergency contact and disclose any medical conditions relevant to physical activity. By enrolling a minor, the parent/guardian authorizes Siudy Flamenco staff, in the event of an emergency in which the parent/guardian cannot be reached promptly, to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment for the minor, at the parent's/guardian's expense.
The photo/video release in the signed Terms & Conditions applies unless you have opted out in writing (including via the registration form or by email to classes@siudyflamenco.org). If you have opted out, we will make reasonable efforts to exclude you or your child from promotional imagery.
